Yes, all international applicants will have to submit proof of financial support after which they will be issued an I-20 form and a letter of acceptance. Also, Clarkson University does not offer need-based financial assistance to international students.

All accepted international undergraduate students at Clarkson University shall be considered for a partial international scholarship. As such, there is no separate application to complete in order to be considered for an international scholarship. These scholarships range from USD 5,000 – USD 30,000 per academic year. The scholarship amount awarded is based on the academic record of students. For first-year students, this includes GPA of secondary school, rigor of the curriculum, SAT and TOEFL scores, and letters of recommendation.
