Yes, according to a graduate from Cleveland State University it is safe to rent a flat in Cleveland and the area around CSU is somewhat broken and crime ridden. Renting a house poses some logistical challenges of managing heat, trash, furniture, internet, appliances and security. There are more secure, yet smaller apartments in large complexes that are proven safer and easier, i.e. The Reserve…etc.
Celveland University have mentored Indian students that have found this arrangement convenient and secure. Living with an American family as boarders is also feasible and a good cultural experience. It is more expensive per person but
