When making a strategy for CMAT exam keep in mind that it is a speed based exam and there is negative marking. Since, there is no sectional time limit, solving adequate number of questions in every section will be key.

It is not advised to prepare for CMAT with sample papers only. One must refer to CMAT books and study material to cover the exam syllabus. Once you've understood each and every topic included in the CMAT syllabus then you can practice CMAT sample papers for gaining control, speed and accuracy.

Digital copy of CMAT admit card will not be accepted at the test centre for identification. Candidates will have to present a print out of their CMAT admit card with a passport size photo affixed on it. The hard copy of CMAT admit card will have to be signed and stamped by the invigilator on the exam day, which cannot be done on the digital copy. Thus, candidates must ensure they carry a copy of their CMAT admit card to the test centre on the exam day.
