Dear Somya, In India more than 300 plus management institutes accepted other Management exams like MAT SNAP NMAT and many more, but there are a few schools are good that have very good placements. Top B-Schools accept other entrance exam score as well:

3-Amity University
4- Asia Pacific Institute of Management
5- Indus School of Business Management
and many more
As per my understanding, students should select an MBA college with all facilities like IILM University, Gurugram has experienced faculty, good placement support, and a curriculum benchmarked against the best in the world. C

Hello Priyadarshan. Congrats for a good score in CMAT. Check out Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai. It is one of the reputed B-Schools in South India, having a legacy of around 58 years. You are eligible to apply to TSM for admission. Since you have scored well in CMAT. I would urge you to consider joining any institution which accepts the CMAT Score because if you opt out and prepare for CAT it would create an gap in your academic career. You can apply to XIME and Xavier University using your CMAT score and the cutoff is around 80 percentile. On the other hand XLRI accepts only XAT and GMAT scores.

Being a PIBM students I would say PIBM accepts the students with minimum 50%. PIBM has its own entrance exam I. e. , PMAT, where students have to go through Test followed by GD/PI rounds, where students are been evaluated and basic communications and aptitude skills are being checked, on the basis of this the students are being selected. Hope I have answered.
