The most important factor is the placements of that college, summer internship, course, faculty, etc.

The selection process is based on various factors Like your percentile in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT, then your GD and PI scores, your academics, work experience and others. Minimum CAT score with which you can apply here is 50 percentile. CMAT on the other hand is lower level exam as compared to CAT, so a better percentile is expected. However, I would suggest that you should try to score good in either of the mgmt admission test. Don't think of minimum, think of what best you can do.

The better the percentile, the higher the chances of scholarship. A good percentile is expected. However, I think you need at least 60 percentile to apply. It contributes to 45% weightage during admissions. There are various other factors that are considered before selecting a candidate. Factors like your academics, GD, PPI, Work ex, sports and extra-curricular activities.

You can try, but these percentile scores have an important role during admissions, around 45% weightage. If the percentile score is good, a candidate may become eligible for scholarships. If possible, appear in upcoming MAT, CMAT, ATMA exams also with preparations. Otherwise, its worth trying.

If anyone has CMAT percentile between 95 and 100, he/she can apply for Jaipuria Institute of Management. Remember the CMAT/MAT/XAT/CAT score contribute to 45% weightage only during admission process, other factors like your GD, PI, past experience, and your academic performance contribute to 65%. So, prepare well for the personal interview and group discussion also. Let me share the weightage of scores during admission process, it will clear the doubts from the first part of the question:
Score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT 45% weightage
Case-based Group Discussion - 15%
Personal Interview - 20%
Academic Performance - 15%
Work Experience, S

Because of the gap years their is no problem for taking admission in top B-School or any other Management colleges but in each placement drive HR will surely ask you the reason for these gap years like what you do in these five years. So prepare your answer accordingly. All the best.

IMT-Nagpur is strict with its cut off and other eligibility criteria. For CMAT you need to score at least 90 percentile.
