You can apply to colleges before and after the result. It majorly depends on the institute you are applying. The CMAT selection procedure is held for only those candidates who have obtained the score as per CMAT cut off. The selection procedure is likely to be conducted in February/March every year.

For getting admission, you should have at least 55% in any graduation and a high score in CMAT examination. The college provides counseling day before admission.
