It is not mandatory to have a CMRUAT score for scholarship at SOEC CMR University. However, if a students want to avail scholarship based on CMRUAT score then qualifying the test is compulsory. Below is the detailed criteria:

| 90.1% – and above | 25% |
| 85.1 to 90% | 15% |
| 75.1 – 85% | 10% |
| 60 – 75% | 5% |
