To access and take a decision on the most preferred choice out of the offers (if any) made by participating Institute (s), each candidate should register and visit COAP. Without registering at COAP, the candidate will not be able to access the offers on COAP.Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study from a university. The COAP 2024 registration window for GATE qualified candidates is closed. It typically starts around March and concludes in May/June. 

However,  COAP Registration Process is:

  1. Visit the official COAP website.
  2. Click on "New User Registration".
  3. Enter your details, including your GATE registration ID, and create a password.
  4. Login to the COAP portal using your credentials.
  5. Fill out the registration form carefully.
  6. Pay the registration fee (if applicable)
  7. Submit your application form and save a copy for reference.

No member institute accepts applications through COAP 2024 for admission to the M.Tech program. Candidates should submit separate applications to the appropriate Institute (s) for admission to the M.Tech programme and PSU for jobs.

Indian Institute of Technology Ropar has offered several courses for students aspiring to get admission to the Masters Programme.  IIT Ropar accepts GATE COAP scores for admission to MTech programmes.

According to the IIT Ropar MTech cutoff 2024, M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering and M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence have become the most competitive specialisations, with a score of 740 in both for General AI category students.  Likewise, M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering was the least competitive course, with a Round 3 cutoff of 345 for General AI students.

The first round took place from May 13 to May 15, 2024; the second round took place from May 20-22, 2024; the third round took place from May 27-29, 2024; and the seventh round will take place from June 21-23, 2024, as per the COAP Round Wise Schedule 2024.

Registering with data pertaining to the highest GATE Score is advised. You will also need to give accurate GATE score information for the years 2022 through 2024 that remain at registration. Although you will only register once, your registration information will contain your previous two or one year's worth of GATE results.

IISC Bangalore accepts GATE scores for admisison to the M.Tech courses. The Round 1 cutoff is out and as per the cutoff, the most competitive course is Mechanical Engineering with a closing rank of 665 for the General AII India category students. For the OBC category, the round 1 closing rank is 624 under the AII India Quota. 

So, basis the IISC Bangalore M.Tech cutoff 2024, candidates must secure a rank over and above 600 to secure a seat for Mechanical Engineering.
