Registering with data pertaining to the highest GATE Score is advised. You will also need to give accurate GATE score information for the years 2022 through 2024 that remain at registration. Although you will only register once, your registration information will contain your previous two or one year's worth of GATE results.

  • Retain and wait (they want to see if they get a better offer in subsequent rounds)
  • Reject and wait (they are open to any offer)

Based on the number of vacant seats and applicant choices, some institutes might choose to hold additional rounds after the main rounds.

These additional round

No. For viewing and making decisions on available admission offer (s) from the participating Institute (s), candidates will have to register at COAP. M.Tech application IDs can be different at different Institutes but you will have only one COAP registration number. Moreover, the COAP registration number is a mandatory field in the M.Tech. Application process of the participating institutes.

While COAP is mainly for offering M.Tech admissions (2 years), some MS programme / three years M.Tech programme of some institutes, COAP registration may be required. This will be instructed by the admitting Institute while applying for those programs.
