Cochin University of Science and Technology admission to MSc programmes is based on the CUSAT CAT (Common Admission Test) score. The entrance exam is conducted by the Directorate of Admissions. Candidates who appear for the entrance examination and secure a good score shall be eligible to take admission.  Besidesm aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements specific to MSc specialisations.

For CUSAT BTech, tuition costs range from INR 85,800 to INR 8.6 lakh. The payment is obtained from an unreliable source. Therefore, is illustrative. After the screening process, shortlisted candidates must pay the course fee to reserve their spot. The entire cost structure includes caution deposit, lab fees, library fees, and tuition.

In addition to the programme cost, candidates must pay a registration fee. In general, there is an application fee of INR 1,100. Candidates from Kerala who are SC/ST are exempt from paying the application fee.
