The Cockrell School of Engineering attracts international students due to some standout qualities such as climate, music, arts, various kinds of cultural activities, and many others. The school holds a major position in the technology hub and job market.

The University of Texas has 15 beautiful residential halls for students. The residential halls are built near various campuses of the university, which makes it easy for the students to commute. All these residential halls are just 10-12 minutes' walk from the university.

Admission in Cockrell School of Engineering depends upon the overall scores and achievements the international students have acquired either in their high schools for undergraduate or the universities for postgraduate.  

  • An undergraduate must have a minimum SAT or equivalent score of 1400+ and most graduates must lie in the top 10 percent of their high school class.

According to Calculus Readiness Requirement, international students are required to submit not just ACT but other requirements also. 

The following will count as readiness for admissions purposes:                 SAT Math score of 620 or above  ACT Math score of 26 or above

The other requirements are Advanced Placement (AP), Calculus AB or BC, International Baccalaureate (IB), Official high school/ university transcript showing credit for a Calculus I (or higher) course with a grade of B or higher.
