To get admission at Chitkara College of Pharmacy for B.Pharma there is no entrance exam required. The admission is done on the basis of merit of (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Maths / Biology with the minimum aggregate of 50% followed by a personal interview.

The college has not released the highest package details officially. However, the course-wise median package for the 2023 placements is out. The highest median package offered during 2023 placements was INR 3 LPA. Check the table below for Dr DY Patil College of Pharmacy Akurdi placement packages:

Admission to B.Pharma at Chitkara College of Pharmacy is made on the basis of eligibility-qualification of 12th with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Maths. The application form should be submitted along with all supportive documents. The short-listed candidates will be invited for personal interaction along with the Admission Committee. Admission will be provided on the basis of academic performance and personal interview. This is a comprehensive assessment, based on which short-listed candidates are offered a seat in the program.

It is because of this that 100% placement with regards to Chitkara College of Pharmacy students should not be guaranteed. The placement is good, though, with approximately 80% students being placed in reputed pharmaceutical companies each year. Big corporate organizations such as Cipla, Pfizer, and Sun Pharma have recruitment drives in the college campus every year and provide a good opportunity to students for internship and employment. Although many students find placement, the real percentage depends on individual performance and market conditions. One of the best courses offered by the college is the BPharma course. This four-year programme will enlighten students in pharmaceutical sciences in theoretical knowledge as well as through internships and hands-on training. Chitkara College of Pharmacy considers the scores of different entrance tests for entry to M.Pharma course. The student should have a valid score in JEE Main examination, which is considered as National-level Entrance Test besides many other things. Besides this, applicant has to complete B.
