Chitkara College of Pharmacy considers the scores of different entrance tests for entry to M.Pharma course. Yes, candidates can get admission to a DPharm course with 65% in their Class 12. The minimum eligibility criteria required by the college for DPharm admission is candidates must complete their Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics with at least an aggregate of 50% and 45% for reserved categories. However, the admission is based on MHT CET scores, the college will release the merit list according to the MHT CET scores secured by the candidates. Hence, candidates can fill out the MHT CET entrance form and college application form with 65% in their higher senior secondary, but, it is not definite that they can get admission. As the cutoff varies year to year on various factors, such as scores, applicants, seats, etc.

The college provides privileges to students,  who are good academically, weak economically, and belong to SC, ST, and category. On the basis of the criteria mentioned below, the DPharm students can get scholarships: 

• Reserved Category students (SC, ST, VJ, NT, SBC, OBC ) can avail of scholarship benefits from the Social Welfare Department,  Government of Maharashtra.
• For DPharm Students of open category- HSC marks should be above 60% and annual income less than INR 8 lakhs, are only eligible for Economically Backward Classes scholarship.

The admission procedure to take DPharm admission requires candidates to complete the eligibility criteria, appear for the MHT CET entrance exam, have their name on the cutoff list, pay the course fee, etc. However, DPharm students can apply for admission through the management quota at D.Y. Patil College of Pharmacy. However, the college prioritises students who qualify through the merit list of the MHT CET entrance exam. Students admitted through the management quota are required to pay higher fees compared to those admitted through regular methods. The college offers a limited number of management quota seats, making competition for these spots higher. In total, 80% of DPharm seats are filled through the centralised admission process (CAP), while 20% are reserved for institute-level admissions.
