GITAM offers a blend of humanities with the academic rigor of a larger, established, multi-disciplinary deemed university. While some private universities focus solely on humanities, GITAM's structure allows for better industry connection and specializations in areas like management or IT. Its focus on interdisciplinary studies and modern pedagogical techniques makes it competitive with top private humanities colleges.

Unlike many conventional colleges in Hyderabad that offer traditional BA curricula, the GITAM School of Humanities and Social Sciences emphasises a flexible, liberal arts approach with modern curricula. The Hyderabad campus has good infrastructure, placement assistance facilities, and better integration of technology in teaching compared to many regional counterparts, making it a stronger choice.

Yes, GITAM provides scholarships based on scholastic merit. Eligible students with high percentages in their class 12 exams can receive significant fee waivers, continued in subsequent years based on their high CGPA. These merit scholarships help in rewarding top performers by reducing their financial burden. Please check eligibility before applying.
