The valuation of student’s performance in theory courses shall be based on two components: Continuous Evaluation which is 40 marks and semester-end examinations which is 60 marks. A student has to secure a minimum of 40% aggregate in any theory course in the two components put together to be declared to have passed the course, subject to the condition that the student must have secured a minimum of 24 marks out of 60 marks (i.e., 40%) in the theory component at the semester-end examination.

As per unofficial sources, the highest package offered to CSE students to GITAM School of Technology, NIT Coimbatore is INR 46.5 LPA and INR 10 LPA, respectively. However, the accepted entrance is different, for clarity students can check the table presented below:
