National Law University Kolkata, being a University of National importance since it's a NLU, offers great packages to its students be it in the BA LLB (Hons) or be it in LLM . Nalsar University stands behind NLU Kolkata (NUJS) with a great placement record over the years. In the year of 2022 NLU Kolkata placement stats were great with 96 out of 118 BA LLB students getting placed with a median package of 16pla. Out of 66 LLM students 44 students were placed with a median package of 7 lpa, which is respectable in itself.

University of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi
Pros:
The median salary package was INR 4.2 LPA in 2023. Positive placement history
located in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir, a desirable location has a wide range of specialties
Cons:
It can cost more than Tezpur University.
Some kids might find the location difficult.
