Both the department here are good & boast of awesome professors but placement here is bit problematic else everything here is good. But in order to chose branches, I'll better Suggest you self assessment of yourself and determine what you like the most & pursue the same.

Tezpur University boast of being the #1 Central University of India and it's chemistry department is one of the most well equipped department having facilities comparable to many IITs & also the research output & Academic exposure is very good. All these sets it apart from all other central universities.

However, NIT Jamshedpur is better.

AEC is better as compared to other one because of infrastructure, industrial exposure & well known good study environment & alumini outputs to the society.

It is good but Tezpur University is a much better option.

Sorry, it is not possible. Your marks are too low. You have to score around 120 marks in JEE in general category to get a good stream.

It's better to go for ECE from NIT-Silchar rather to go for chemical from NIT-Raipur.
As both the colleges are not topped ranked NITs, so here branch matters more than the college.

Other than IITs and NITs there are many private universities like VIT, SRM, BITS, Galgotias, Nirma University, UPES-Dehradun, Amity, Sharda and LPU which are having high placement records and the decorum here will make your personality develop.
