The university conducts RVSAT for providing admission to MA course. The shortlisted candidates are further called for PI round. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. Master of Design (MDes) is a PG degree course of two-year duration offering specialisations on Communication Design and Interaction Design. MDes course curriculum offer a concentration in the chosen design specialisation and few electives from the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences and the School of Economics & Finance.

The PESSAT question paper incorporate questions of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. There are four different sections wherein Physics and Mathematics sections will encompass 60 questions each and Chemistry and English section will comprise of 40 and 20 questions respectively.
