The placement rate for UG (5-year) and UG (4-year) courses has been fluctuating from 2021 to 2023. For PG (2-year) courses, the placement rate dropped from 2021 to 2022 and for 2022 and 2023 the percentage of students placed has been the same. The Bangalore University average package is not out officially. However, the University has disclosed the median package in the NIRF report 2024. The median package for PG (2-year) and UG (4-year) courses has been fluctuating from 2021 to 2023. On the other hand, the median package for UG (5-year) courses dropped from 2021 to 2022 and for the last two years, it has been constant. Refer to the below table for median package trends:

In terms of placements, the University has released the PG (2-year) placements statistics. A total of 2,000 PG (2-year) students graduated in 2021. Out of these, 370 were placed successfully.
