The placements of Mechanical department at RVCE is decent. The branch-wise placement stats for 2026 are not availabe. In 2025, 80 Mechanical students of BE program were placed with an average salary of INR 9.22 LPA and highest of INR 18.33 LPA.

Ramaiah Institute of Management accepts valid CMAT/ MAT scores for admission to the MBA programme. For 2023, the cutoff is yet to be released for the MBA programme. As per the Ramaiah University MBA cutoff 2022, the MAT cutoff percentile was 65 for the General All India category candidates.
