Yes, RIT has signed various MOUs with a lot of companies in a wide array of industries. A few examples are NVIDIA, SAP, IBM, HP, and Mitsubishi. As for international collaborations, there is not a lot of data available. There are international ventures through the clubs at RIT, as we know.

Well to start out, explore. The freshman year brings a lot of exposure and opportunities not only in academics but also in a wide array of other interests. You can join the club of your interest to find out and nurture your hidden personality. About Academics, for internals, just study before one week and give your best in the semester end exams. For the rest of the time, develop your skills, go out with your friends and have the best time of college life, as you will not get this time again.

There is no strict dress code as such. Do not be too Informal in the academic surroundings, that's all. This is what the handbook for students states on dress code, "Students should dress in a manner appropriate for an academic environment, be well groomed. Tattooing, body-piercing, hair- styling should be refrained from. " Although it is mentioned in the handbook, No one has ever been told to not wear something. So yes, its pretty chill at RIT.
