Main Campus houses lot of different departments like MBA, Science, Commerce, Hotel Management, School of Law, Computer Applications etc. The crowd in Main Campus is so huge because of these many departments. Most of the foreign students also study is Main Campus. Student life seems to be kind of busy since you are in the city and you have lot of places to hang out in and around the campus. The infrastructure of the college is good though not great. Our library access is good and we have unlimited online access. Lecture halls are attractive but Wi-Fi connection is very poor. There's no net access across the campus. We have world class faculty members but the attrition rate is very high in XIME for past 2 years (almost 95%). So, every year you see complete new faculty members who are not able to fill the place of older ones. Placement is really a problem, ROI is the worst here. Cost of MBA is around 12 Lacs but average salary is between 4-5 Lacs. XIME was very good but it is losing its name from past 2 years.

Bachelors Degree in Commerce Stream [B.Com] are eligible to pursue the Masters Degree in either of the two departments i,e. Arts and Commerce [M.A and M.Com] given one fulfills the admission criteria of the University one is seeking to pursue in with. The duration of the Masters program is two years.
Since, you are a Commerce Graduate, you will be better served if you pursue the Masters Degree in the same stream, given, you will have already gained the basic knowledge and a strong foundation in the Commerce Department. However, if you are willing take up Arts in the Post Graduate Degree program, you can definitely look to pursue.

Economics at SOAS probes the mechanism of society and explains the factors and processes that underpin production, exchange and distribution, in order to effectively inform economic policy, as well as to understand the consequences of economic and social well-being.
Students are encouraged to develop a deep understanding of particular countries and issues, based on concrete analysis of history, institutions and political economy. This reflects a shared view at SOAS that economics should be rigorous, reflective and, fundamentally, useful.

My suggestion to faculty members be creative and bring confidence in students. Internet Facility (Wi-Fi) needs to be improved in the college. Some construction work is going on in mechanical department which disturbs class sometime. I hope that it will complete soon. Book bank Facility must be made available in Library. Check the course curriculum and fee details of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Bangalore.
