PES University is a good option to do engineering, especially for CS branch. Last year, the average placement for CS was Rs. 7.75 Lacs (approximately). The campus is a bit small but has all the necessities. There are a number of clubs to get in. The college has a track record of 100% placement. Also, the faculty is good and the classroom teaching is effective.

As far as I know, there is no lateral entry for MCA in PESIT.

Yes, you may get a seat. You may not get the top branches as for the top branches, the closing rank is near 1k, even in the second round of counselling. But you may get lower branches.

PES is very good in terms of education as well as placements. Placements: Last year the package approximately went to an average of 12 LPA.95% of students who did MBA from PES is getting good salary packages. International placement in one batch is approximately 20% which indicates their strength in international tie-ups. They are giving enough opportunities in India and abroad. Yes, an option for lateral entry is there for the diploma students in PES University. Diploma students can join the college from the second year.

Yes, it is possible. Just fill the PESSAT form once again (Last date to register is April 10). Sit for the exam. If you get a better seat go for it.

The first batch will pass out this very year. Hence, the placements scenario is not clear at this point of time. In terms of infrastructure and facilities, I think PES University is the best among all colleges. The campus is great and all facilities from sports to classrooms are simply amazing.
