I have very limited knowledge of the same. Therefore, I would request you to look at HRD's rankings, Times of India and Hindustan Times rankings.

To get M.Sc (biotechnology) in the mentioned institutions, you need to complete B.Sc and then qualify JAM. On the other hand, you can also sit for JEE Advanced for IITs and IISc and IISER aptitude test for IISER, but it is for integrated B.Sc+M.Sc.

For UG courses the selection is mainly based on your performance in class 12. Some courses will have entrance test which will be based on your academics of class 12, skill assessment which is a written test on a general topic, micro presentation where you will have to talk on a given topic for 90 seconds (a list of topics will be given beforehand), personal interview with a panel of interviewers.
The selection process is different for every course. So if to get the right answer you will have to specify which course you want to know about.

Hello Abhijeet, a Diploma degree is always an added bonus to your CV. However, in terms of monetary growth, there isn't a straightforward relationship between the two. Depending on your past CV and the organization you may apply to, it might or might not add the numbers. Having said that, doing a course from SIBM-Bengaluru will definitely give you growth in terms of exposure and role in the organization that may eventually materialize in monetary growth as well. I hope this answers your question.
