SVIT Bangalore offers admission to its various courses based on scores in entrance exams, followed by Karnataka State Counselling. The college offers B.E. as its flagship programme in 7 different specializations. Admission to B.E. programme is based on scores in COMED-K, or K-CET scores, followed by Karnataka state counselling. It also offers direct admission to B.E. second year via B.Tech {Lateral} programs, provided all eligibility criteria are fulfilled. SVIT also offers admission to MBA programs based on scores in exams such as PGCET/KMAT/GMAT

The annual tution fees is 500000 for 4 years .SVIT offer various scholarships to support financially and recognise academic excellence .these scholarships are available for both merit-based and need based categories. Government scholarship : Karnataka state scholarship SSP: sponsered by the Government of Karnataka, these scholarships are available for students can apply through the SSP National Scholarship (NSP):offered by the Government of India, these include the Central Sector Scheme and AICTE schemes such as Pragati Scholarship for students and Saksham.Applications can be made through the NPS portal, Additional Finical support:KMDC

Unless the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) offers a particular pathway or conversion course, a sociology honours graduate with a BE (Bachelor of Engineering) degree is probably not directly eligible for an M.Sc. (Master of Science) programme in Hotel Management or any related field. A bachelor's degree in a related field, like hospitality and hotel administration, is required for the majority of IHM M.Sc. programs.
