This would entirely depend on the programme and the institute in Bangalore, as the city has many engineering colleges. Ideally, you can look at the top-ranked B.Tech institutes in Bangalore, ranked by NIRF or other ranking bodies that place institutes at higher positions based on teaching, placements, and other factors. For instance, IIIT Bangalore which has the 69Th position in NIRF ranking has a fee of INR 26 Lakh, while the average placements stand at INR 33 Lakh.

If you're a PCB student preparing for the GAT exam, you should primarily focus on NCERT books, as most questions are directly or indirectly based on NCERT concepts. NCERT helps build clear fundamentals and is usually sufficient for understanding core topics.

Once your basics are strong, you can refer to your state board books only for additional clarity or practice, not as the main source. Overloading with too many books can increase confusion.

For a clear syllabus breakdown, subject-wise strategy, and study plan, you can take free expert advice from Quantifiers through our website.
