Yes! The new GIBS campus in Bangalore makes it much easier to hold big events, fests, and placement drives.

Because the campus is big and well-built, there's plenty of space for:

  • Cultural fests and student events

  • Sports tournaments

  • Workshops and guest lectures

  • Placement drives with many companies visiting

There are large halls, open grounds, and good facilities that help the school organise everything smoothly. So students get to take part in lots of fun and important activities without any crowding or space problems.

A full day at GIBS Bangalore feels busy but enjoyable.

The day usually starts with morning classes in smart classrooms. Sessions are interactive, with discussions, case studies, presentations, and group work—not just boring lectures. There are short breaks where students grab tea, chat with friends, or walk around the green campus.

By afternoon, students attend practical sessions, labs, workshops, or guest lectures from industry experts. Lunch time is relaxed, with students sitting together in the cafeteria or outside, enjoying the open space.

In the evening, the campus becomes more fun. Some students go for sports like cricket or footb

GIBS Bangalore accepts most of the popular management entrance exams for MBA and PGDM. You can apply if you have scores from CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, or even state-level exams like KMAT.

So basically, you're not stuck with just one exam option. GIBS gives flexibility and looks at your entrance score along with your interview and academic background.

A typical weekend at GIBS Bangalore is fun, active, and relaxing at the same time.

Students usually take part in sports matches like cricket, football, badminton, and indoor games. Friendly tournaments are common, so weekends feel energetic and lively. There are also cultural activities like dance practice, music, open-mic sessions, movie nights, and small fests where students showcase their talents.

For those who want to relax, the green campus is a big plus. Students sit on the lawns, walk around the campus, chat with friends, or just chill in open spaces. Some spend time in the café, hostel common areas, or reading quietly.

The PGDM programme at GIBS Business School is unique in its focus on practical learning and industry driven methods rather than theory alone. The programme provides dual specialisations so that students can study core areas of Marketing, Finance, HR or Operations and combine them with emerging fields such as Business Analytics, AI, Digital Marketing or International Business. Integration of live industry projects, hands-on learning through fieldwork, internships, corporate visits and case-based learning occur during all four years of the PGDM, meaning students have early real world exposure.
