Hello Gokulrajan, from this year onwards, NTA will decide ranking and cutoff based on percentile and not on raw marks scored in JEE Mains. Hence I feel what you are quoting as marks must be percentile or it must be given separately. For a general category student, your percentile is a bit on the lower side and I am afraid that it would be tough to get admission in any NIT. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about predicting your college once you input percentile. I would like to advise you that please appear once again for JEE Mains that is going to be conducted in the month of April to improve your percentile. For getting admission into MBA in NIT Calicut, the minimum academic qualifications required are:
a) Regular candidates: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University or Institution on a full time basis with an aggregate minimum of 60% or 6.5 out of 10 CGPA for Open and OBC categories and 55% or 6.0 out of 10 CGPA for SC and ST categories. Final year students (of the above mentioned programs ) are also eligible to apply for the MBA program.
The applicants should have a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score.The aspirants shall be ranked based on their performance in group discussions and personal interviews, conducted as part of selection procedure for admission.
b) Sponsored Candidates (up to 5 students) - Candidates sponsored by their employers to pursue an MBA at NIT Calicut, should forward their application through the proper channel.They must have a minimum work experience of three years in the sponsoring organization after graduation in any of the disciplines prescribed for regular candidates.
