English is the language of instruction at Simon Fraser University. International students have to meet the Simon Fraser University IELTS requirements to get admission to undergraduate and graduate program. The university requires competence in all four of the following skills; listening, reading, speaking and writing. The table below has minimum English language requirement for SFU admissions:

The Simon Fraser University application fee for for international students is CAD 130 and CAD 82.60 for domestic students. The application process at SFU is a three steps process. In the first step, you complete/submit the application form. Then you pay a non-refundable CAD 130 application fee and finally, you upload all the required documents. Once you have completed all the application steps you are required to submit an application fees or your application will not be evaluated.

The academic year at Concordia University consists of three terms, namely, Fall, Winter and Summer terms. The application deadlines for international graduate applicants each term are as follows:
For undergraduate admissions, Concordia considers complete applications round the year. However, priority is given to the applicants who apply according to the official deadlines. For international applicants, February 1, 2024 is the Fall term deadline for most of the programs.
