The eligibility criteria for entrance scholarships for international students at Algoma University are given as follows:

• The students who want to be considered for these awards should have a temporary resident visa as a member of the student class under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of Canada on the first day.
• The students are also required to pay the international differentiation fee including the university transfers, second-degree students, collegeDiplomagraduates and college transfer students who are eligible for the entrance scholarship.
• Students are required to complete the fulfilling requirements in the academic year before they commence their studies at Algoma University.
• The awards require the enrollment for over two semesters in an academic year (Fall/Winter) which means that the students entering in the Winter or Spring Term will be considered for these awards in the next academic year.

The application procedure at St. Clair College for international students is given as follows:

• Keep the required documents ready in-hand before starting the application which includes the university transcripts and diploma, English Language Scores report, passport or citizenship documents.
• The applicant must secure a payment option for the CAD 125 application fee submission
• Applicants must visit the official college website using the online application platform
• After applying, making the payment and confirming the application, the applicant will receive an email notification as related to the process of application.
• As given on the Letter of Acceptance, if the student is accepted then they need to pay the confirmation tuition fee.
• The student must apply for their Canadian Study Permit (visa) by submitting the documents and other required documents as well.
