International students can apply to Algonquin College in the following ways:

• Choose a suitable programme or course that you want to specialize in. The applicant can use the career tools available to help them choose a programme that is best suited.
• Apply online through the International Application Portal
• The applicant can track their application using the Algonquin College Student Information System.
• The application should fulfill the admission requirements and if it also requires an assessment, then the same will be notified to the applicant via email.
• After receiving the offer, the applicant can select the offer of admission that they wish to accept.
• The applicant is required to pay a tuition deposit of CAD 500 which is non-refundable.
• Submit any remaining admission documents and if those are not submitted by the deadline then the offer may be cancelled.

The eligibility requirements for the English Proficiency Entrance Scholarship are given as follows:

·       Students can submit their application for admission and also submit the fees by the deadline which is indicated on their offer letter.

·       The student must arrive in Canada and continue to be enrolled at the college after the 10^th day of the semester.

·       This scholarship is awarded towards the second semester fees and will be awarded before the deadline for the student’s second semester fee payment.

·       If the student has paid their fees for the entire academic year before receiving the scholarship money, the refund will be made through cheque in the month following the start of each semester.

Durham College offers scholarships to students who have achieved academic or personal excellence or both, have participated in community involvement and leadership. The bursaries are awarded based on the financial need of the students. There can be other requirements for qualifications such as having membership in a certain organization. The student is also required to be in a good academic standing to receive bursaries. The range of scholarships awarded to degree programme students are given as follows:

·       75% average grade – CAD 500

·       80% average grade – CAD 1,500

·       85% average grade – CAD 2,000

·       90% average grade – CAD 3,000
