Students have to submit some documents during VELS University admission and application process. The general list is as below:
- Class 10 and 12 marksheet and Passing Certificate
- UG marksheet & Certificate
- Entrance exam scorecard
- Counselling Letter
- School Leaving Certificate
- Caste Certificate - if applicable
- Migration Certificate - if applicable
- Certificate of last appearing examination if other than above
- Aadhaar Card
- Passport size photographs

VELS University generally does not accept offline applications. Students have to submit an application at the university's official site only. However, students may connect with the admission counsellors to know about the offline submission of forms - if any.

If you're not able to receive OTP while applying at Anna University Chennai, try resending or reloading the sent OTP. Wait for atleast 15-20 minutes or change the current netword settings. If this does not fix the problem of OTP not getting loaded, try using a different Email Id or phone no.

University of Madras is a state public university in Chennai. Madras University has also been recognised by the UGC. BTech & MBA are the flagship courses of the university. It has been ranked 38th under "University" category, 68th under "Overall" category & 18th under "State Public Universities" by NIRF 2025. A number of scholarships are offered by the institute like Rotary Club of Madras city Endowment Scholarship, The Lady Willingdon Peace Endowment Scholarship, etc. Overall, it is a good university.

No, the University is yet to release its placement highlights for the year 2025. However, the NIRF Report 2026 is out. Refer to the data tabulated below to know more:
