Yes, you can get direct admission to Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering. The institution offers only BTech and MTech courses. To be eligible for admission to any course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in the previous qualification in a relevant stream from any recognised institute. Although admissions are done based on scores obtained in TNEA counseling for BTech, and GATE for MTech. 35% of the seats are reserved for direct admission under the management quota.

Yet, students who get very high percentages in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (96% and above in state board or 86% and above in CBSE) can get up to 100% fee concession. Besides, there are management scholarships, minority scholarships, and government schemes.
