Candidates should be Resident/Non-Resident Indian Nationals, have completed Class 12 from any recognised board, and have an age limit of 21 years as of 1 July of the year of admission. No, you can not get direct admission to an MBA at Velammal Engineering College. To be eligible for admission at Velammal Engineering College for an MBA, applicants need to have a minimum of 50% scores in graduation. The college requires applicants to qualify in the TANCET exam for admission to MBA. For Management Quota, Candidates need to appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the college.

As of 2022-2023, the CSE branch has the most placements. With around 113 students getting placed from that CSE branch. Followed by ECE with around 60 students, then IT with 50, next is EEE with around 20, and last is CIVIL with just 8 students. The years 2017 to 2021 had a consistent placement for students at about 86 to 90 percent.
