Hello,
So, if you are talking about B.Sc agriculture hons., then it has a large scope as very less people are in this field do you definitely have chances to shine but not B.Tech agriculture engineering as mechanical engineering is big branch and B.Tech agriculture engineering is a sub branch so less scope.

Academic Qualification: Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and either MAT Score or CAT score. With this cut-off, it is difficult to get chemical engineering at CIT-Coimbatore, but you might get if you belong to the SC or ST category. The college has good infrastructure and hostel facilities for students. You might also check out the reviews about the college at https://shiksha.com.
