At doctoral-level, Faculty of Computer Applications MRIIRS offers PhD programme in Computer Applications. MRIIRS conducts an entrance exam (with 70% weightage in selection) for admission to PhD followed by an interview/ presentation round (with 30% weightage in selection) for final selection. The syllabus for the entrance test consists of 50% research methodology based questions in part-A and 50% subject-specific questions in part-B. Candidates with a valid score in GATE/ UGC NET/ CSIR JRF are exempted from writing the PhD entrance exam and can directly sit for the interview.

Yes, Faculty of Computer Applications MRIIRS does offers foreign exposure to UG students. The students admitted to the department for BSc in IT programme are required to undergo a four -week study abroad programme/ internship at AIS Auckland, New Zealand as a part of the programme.
