Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) is conducted for lateral entry into B.E./B.Tech courses in the state of Haryana.
A valid score of JEE Main or any other state level entrance exam will be considered for admission.
The entrance exam for Diploma courses is carried out through Diploma Entrance Test (DET).
DET (L) – Diploma Entrance Test Lateral, is an entrance examination conducted for lateral entry into Diploma Engineering courses.

Must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies.
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category of Haryana Only) in the above subjects taken together.

The online fee to apply for a programme at DDE Kurukshetra University is INR 800 for General category and INR 200 for SC/BC/EBPG/BLIND Candidates of Haryana only. Online submission of application form and fees can be done only on the CDOE Website www.ddekuk.ac.in with a processing fee.
