As per the Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University admission guidelines, admission to the BA course is entirely merit-based. There are no entrance exam required for admission to the BA course. Candidates only requres twelve years of school education in five subjects of the Board of School Education, Haryana, or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Kurukshetra University with English as one of the subjects. Therefore, students can join DDE KUK course directly without any entrance exam. However, having a complete qualification is mandatory for the BA admission.

Yes, there are scholarship offered for the BA course at Directorate of Distance Education Kurukshetra University. The scholarships are mostly offered under the Government schemes. Students must qualify the eligibility criteria and submit all the necessary documents required for the scholarship. Few of the scholarships are as follows:

Yes, for admission to BCA courses, candidates must have a valid score, i.e., MRNAT at Faculty of Computer Application, MRIIRS. This exam is particularly conducted for admission of students to its UG courses. Students can get admission to BCA after qualifying for this exam. 

For admission to MCA course at Faculty of Computer Application, MRIIRS, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course are MRNAT and candidates must pass graduation with a 50% aggregate either in BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engg. or equivalent. Candidates who have not completed graduation are not eligible for admission.

The Directorate of Distance Education of Kurukshetra University is a distance learning institution of Kurukshetra University. The institute is approved by the Joint Committee of UGC-AICTE-Distance Education Council. Further, the DDE Kurukshetra University is accredited with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “A” Grade. Therefore, the BA degree offered at DDE KUK is valid and is equivalent to any regular BA degree.
