The answer is both yes and no. IIM Indore admission for the postgraduate and doctoral-level Management courses, i.e., PGP, PGP-HRM, FPM and E-FPM programmes is completely based on CAT scores followed by a PI round. The percentile of CAT for IIM Indore has gone up to 98 percentile in the past years which shows how rigorous it is for a student to get admission to this institute. Additionally, there is no information about the college giving admission to MBA (or PGP) courses without CAT.

PGP is a two years MBA programme that requires the candidates to have a valid CAT score for application. However, EPGP is a one-year post graduate programme for experienced professionals and requires the candidates to have a valid GMAT score as well as a minimum of five years of work/ professional/ entrepreneurial experience. EPGP course has been designed keeping in mind the following:
- To leverage the experience of the participants
- The courses are aligned with the industry concentration identified for the programme
- The core courses provide a general management perspective at an elevated pitch compared to the PGP programme

Candidates seeking admission to the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management of IIM Indore should submit their application online. Aspirants need to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 5,900 including GST. Candidates can pay the application fee via any of the online payment mode.

Check below IIM Indore EPGP eligibility criteria:
- A pass in four-years bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for EPGP course.
- Candidates who have completed three-year bachelor's degree and master's degree with at least 50% aggregate each can also apply for EPGP course.
- Aspirants with 50% aggregate in Integrated five-year course or other programmes of similar duration can also apply.
- A minimum of five years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation as on the application deadline date is also required.

GMAT score is one of the many data points considered for providing admission to IIM Indore. Given the emphasis on diversity, nature of work experience, educational background, statement of purpose, sponsorship status (sabbatical/industry sponsored) all these play a critical role in the selection of candidates. The admissions committee decides the cutoff every year. Currently, the institute accepts overall GMAT cutoff for providing admission. Candidates shortlisted based on GMAT score are further called for a personal interview round.
