Pgs for girls are easily available in our under 2-3 km near college, many of my classmates are living there and I personally feel pgs are far better than hostels. Hostels are also available but there are restrictions to go outside of college if you are a hosteller you need to take permission to go outsides after 6 pm for girls and after 7 pm for boys.

The auditorium of this college is so large and one of the finest I can say in Punjab. Stars like Terence Lewis, Nimrat Khaira etc. come there to promote their songs movies, etc. I like this thing about my college and more over study is also good and other activities competitions etc.s are very good. Treasure hunts etc. are also played here that I personally like about.

A two-year MTech programme is available at NIT Jalandhar. There are 16 specialisations available for this programme. There are two options for students to be admitted to the M.Tech programme at NIT Jalandhar. They either need to qualify for GATE and appear for CCMT Counselling. Another option is to get admission through the Self-Sponsored category via only a GATE score.

According to the recent placement data, Computer Science Engineering is the best branch in NIT Jalandhar. The NIT Jalandhar CSE average package has improved year-on-year over the past three years. The Electronics and Communication branch is also showing the same placement record as CSE. The CSE is the top department in terms of the highest number of eligible students as well as the highest number of offers received. The NIT Jalandhar CSE average package stood at INR 16.74 LPA.
