NIT Jalandhar JEE Main Round 6 cutoff for Computer Science Engineering is 11017 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in NIT Jalandhar.

CGPA calculation is a little bit complicated here because they never reveal how much a student achieve the marks, but they give a sign that indicates the marks like
| Shown value | Actual value |
| A+ | 9 |
| A | 8 |
| B+ | 7 |
| B | 6 |
| c | 5 |
| p | 4 |
| f | 0 |
and they give your marks in the form of this code and then they calculate your CGPA as (shown value of total subjects
* actual value of that key)/no of subjects

If a student fails internal exams in I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU), then they will also be promoted to the next sem, their DMC (detailed mark sheet) will not be available, whenever they'll clear all the exams of that sem then they'll receive the DMC from our college.
In the next sem, you need to give MSTs (mid sem test) also for the previous semester's internal subject in which they failed, and after that, they need to attend the viva of the present semester as well as the previous sem.

As much I know, IK Gujral offers more than 40 courses for different levels like undergraduate and Masters course approved from here.
Also PTU offers PhD courses for students, and after that also they teach under graduate stutdents.
In which, CSE for undergraduate is the best course which is offered by PTU, because atleast CSE students get placements and almost everything for CSE is available here, like good collection of tech books, good labs with best wi-fi.

Yes, direct admissions are open right now for BCA, also, pre-admissions are happening for the last 2 months.
For CSE and other branches, the counselling round is finished.
Direct admission will start in one or two weeks.
For direct admission, you need to contact the college directly or by any senior.

This is something common in colleges because you have a lot of things you need to do, a lot of work except your college studies, like sports activities, NCC, NSS, events and all, and sometimes both collide so if something is important you are doing then you can email your HOD that this is the reason why you might not be able to give internal exams, and they will rearrange the internal exam for you. Also sometimes there are some extra exams happen for those students who were unavailable at the internal exam time. You just need to inform before the exam.
