Qualifications for admission to UG and PG programs at H.M.S Institute of Technology. For B.E./B.Tech, candidates must have a 45% cumulative score on their 10+2 exam from any stream, with math and physics being required subjects and computer science, chemistry, and biology being elective. Only the KCET scores are used to determine admission. A bachelor's degree with an aggregate of 50% in any subject is necessary for MBA/PGDM. Additionally required is a Karnataka PGCET or KCET score. M.E./M.Tech: Final-year students may apply provisionally; requires a good GATE score and a related undergraduate degree.

Without going through PGCET, you can still add the MBA programme for the 2023-2025 academic year at New Horizon College of Engineering through management quota. This type of option was made by New Horizon for applicants from the basic eligibility of at least 50 percent in their undergraduate programme (45 percent for reserved classes from Karnataka).

IIM Bangalore typically releases interview calls for the PGPEM (Executive MBA) within a couple of weeks after the final entrance test round. So, if your final IIMB-Test was on February 2, you can expect the call between February 8 to 12. In 2025, the interviews were scheduled for February 15th and 16th.
