BMS College of Engineering eligibility criteria varies according to different programmes offered by the institute at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

• Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and have obtained at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC, ST and Category-I candidates) in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Electronics or Computer Science as optional subjects can apply for admission to the BE programme offered at BMS College of Engineering.

Candidates who want to take admission in the BE programme through management quota must have passed Class 12 examination with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ CS/ Electronics with a minimum 60% aggregate. Candidates who have passed Diploma or equivalent examination with a minimum 45% aggregate (40% marks in case of SC, ST and backward classes candidates from Karnataka) are eligible to apply for BMS College BE admission through lateral entry.

• Candidate who have a BE/ BTech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) are eligible to apply for admission to the M.Tech programme. BMS College eligibility criteria for MBA programme is a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% marks for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) taken together in all the subjects including language subject.
• Candidate who have passed the Bachelor’s degree examination with Mathematics/ Statistics/ CS/ Computer Application/ Computer Programming/ Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) can apply for BMS College of Engineering MCA admission.

Candidates must follow certain procedure to take admission in any of the undergraduate or postgraduate programme offered at BMS College of Engineering. STEP 1: Candidates must fill out the detailed BMS College of Engineering application form which is available on the BMSCE website. 

STEP 2: Then, candidates must appear for the entrance examination according to the programme for which they wish to apply for. BMS College of Engineering accepts the scores of KCET, COMEDK, Karnataka PGCET, KMAT, CMAT and various other entrance exams for admission in specific programmes.

STEP 3: After candidates receive the entrance scores, they must appear for the counselling process, confirm the seat and must pay BMS College admission fees.

The Student or Candidates must clear 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Maths, and English to be eligible for the university.

The Individual can take admission by taking any one of the later exams i.e. CET, JEE Main, COMED-K or CMRUAT

If the Student Clears the above the exams, he/she can indulge in the counseling process for further process.

The university accepts admission according to or based on the marks obtained in the exam.

AS PER DATA, The minimum requirement in JEE Mains to get the campus would be considered 90+ Percentile although these are all data and can vary with time.

The fee Structure varies for both the colleges due to coverage of vast and diverse fields, AAT College ranges between around 4.5lakh to 17lakh whereas compared to IIFA Lancaster have its courses offered at a higher price than that of AAT College depending completely upon the course.
