The final step of Kasturba Medical college application process is to pay the application fees. The application fees charged by the institute is different for General and Foreign or NRI candidates. General category candidates who want to seek admission in any of the programme must pay Kasturba Medical College application fees of INR 600 (INR 2,500 for Foreign/NRI/ NRI sponsored category candidates) for all courses. The institute may ask candidates to pay INR 1,400 as an entrance test fees for selected courses.

Candidates cannot get direct admission in any of the undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty or fellowship programme offered by the college. The institute accepts the scores and rank of multiple entrance examinations. Candidates must appear for NEET UG for admission in MBBS programme, NEET PG for MD and MS programmes and NEET SS for admission in DM and MCh programmes offered at KMC Manipal. To get admission in any programme offered at Manipal Medical College at undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty or fellowship level, candidates must appear for an entrance examination.
