The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysore is an autonomous institute affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University. Founded in the year 1946 by S. Ramaswamy, DV Narsimha Rao and T Ramarao, NIE is the second engineering college in Karnataka and the first one in Mysore. The highest package offered during NIE Mysore placements 2022 stood at INR 43.14 LPA.

NIE Mysore has released its placement statistics for 2023. As per the official website, the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 56 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively. A total of 708 students were placed and 348 companies were visited during NIE Mysore placements 2023. Further, more than 960 offers were made and more than 500 dream offers were recorded during placements 2023.

The IISc Bangalore BTech is INR 8 lakh. The duration of the course is for four years. Moreover, those candidates who want admission need to fulfil the eligibility criteria.
