Hello Mithun, Presently Surathkal is one of the most sought after NIT by the students. Hense, invariably the cutoffs are quite stiff. No. You can apply for the exam in English language but if you are applying for any language subject (eg. Hindi Urdu, Bengali etc. ). Then you should have full command over that language. Apart from that its up-to you whether to appear in Hindi or English as the mode of language in exams not related to language subjects.
