MBA/PGDM is the most popular programme in Impact Institute of Management Studies due to the fact that it has a well-rounded, industry-focused course with specializations in Finance, Human Resources, Healthcare & Hospital Management, and Sales & Marketing. The two-year, full-time programme appeals to students who aspire for managerial positions. Regardless of the mixed feedback on placements and the faculty, the practical orientation of the course and the exposure to various areas of business attract the aspirants. Also, the institute's association with Bangalore City University and the fact that experienced faculty members teach there support its popularity among management students.

Since B.E./B.Tech admissions from Impact College of Engineering and Applied Sciences fall under the Karnataka Examinations Authority schedule, the result date for the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is usually on or near the said schedule. The KCET usually occurs in April or May; for 2025 it should happen in any case. The results are usually declared about three or four weeks later around late May or early June.
