The reporting time for the MHCET Law exam will be different for both the shifts. It is not yet out, however, the candidates will be required to reach the examination hall as per the time mentioned on the admit card. Students can take admissions both on the basis of merit and entrance exams. For BTech, the score of KEAM exam is accepted for admissions. Both Class12 marks and KEAM marks are taken into consideration. For MTech, the score of GATE exam is accepted & for PhD courses the candidate needs to pass post-graduation and clear UGC-NET/UGC- CSIR NET/GATE/CEED for admission.

It also gives good placement opportunities. The the highest and average packages offered during CUSAT placement 2024 was INR 25 LPA and INR 7.32 LPA,  respectively.
