The College of Engineering, Chengannur is famous mainly because of its strong placement record, especially in IT.

A lot of students get into good companies like TCS, Infosys, and even product-based firms. It also has a really active tech and coding culture, students take part in hackathons and tech events regularly. It's a government college under IHRD, so the fees are affordable, and the quality of teaching is decent. Plus, the student community is active, and their tech fest 'Summit' is quite popular.

Overall, it's seen as one of the best options for engineering in Kerala if you want good placements and a solid campus environment.

The faculty at Trinity College of Engineering is considered quite good overall. Most of the teachers are well-qualified, many hold M.Tech or PhDs and are known to be helpful, friendly and approachable.

Students say they explain concepts clearly and are supportive when it comes to academics, projects, and even placements. Teaching is mostly theory-focused, but many faculty members also try to include practical insights and encourage student involvement. While some departments might have a few less engaging teachers, the majority are committed and genuinely try to help students succeed.

AISAT follows the Kerala Technological University (KTU) academic calendar for semester exams. After the final exams, which typically conclude in early May, AISAT's Office of the Controller of Examinations processes the results. Official semester results are usually released within 3–4 weeks, that is, late May to early June each year. Following declaration, results are published online via the college's Student Login portal under “KTU Exam Results”. For the most accurate schedule, check the current academic calendar on the “Office of the Controller of Examinations” page or contact AISAT's exam office directly.

Direct admission to Sreepathy Institute of Management and Technology (SIMAT) is likely not possible for all courses. While some seats may be available under management quota, most admissions are based on merit and entrance exams like KEAM

SIMAT primarily admits students based on their performance in qualifying exams like the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical Entrance Exam) for undergraduate programs,

Private colleges, including SIMAT, often have a management quota, which allows them to admit a limited number of students outside of the regular merit list, often with higher fees.
