The PAU-MET exam has four sections, Agricultural Aptitude, General Science, General English and Mathematics. Total 50 questions are asked in Agricultural Aptitude, 30 in General Science, 10 in General English and 10 in Mathematics. The total weightage of this exam is 100 marks. It is a three-hour, MCQ based exam. It is a pen and paper based exam that takes place in offline mode.

These are on Banking Services, Certificate courses on Urdu and French (part-time), PC Assembling & Trouble Shooting and Plant Tissue Culture. In addition to these, some courses such as Value-added courses, Communication Skills, Competitive Exams Guidance & Coaching are taught along with training the aspirants for UGC/NET exams.
